RP with Bart!

Bart was over a minute late. Not that Bart being late was unusual. For a guy so fast, he could be pretty damn slow.

Kon being impatient was also not unusual. And he worried about Bart. He'd gotten Bart to agree, mostly, though he had the feeling it was partly to get Kon to stop bugging him. Like that would work. Kon had his old place in Hawaii all rebuilt, and there wasn't anyone to share it with.

So he called Bart.

"You can learn," Kon said. He grinned. "And I mean snow skiing. Take a run around the islands, Bart. There's every kind of climate you can imagine. I love this place." He glanced at the pot as the water began to boil. "So can I put the noodles in now?"

Bart shrugged. "I hope that means you're offering to teach me, I don't think any other people could really deal with me for long enough to actually surf. And besides," he added, grinning. "I need a snack before I go anywhere. The 'hunt for snow' expedition will have to wait until after lunch."

"Sure, sure," Kon said. "Though you should know I've been known to cheat. TTK is really useful." He poured the noodles into the pot.

Bart smirked wryly. "Yes, well, when have you ever been known not to cheat a little with your TTK? You, of all people, should know that you can't turn off something so intrinsic." Bart went back to bouncing on the balls of his feet, looking back out the window, then at Kon. "Is the food done yet?" he asked hopefully.

"Not many people can surf in storms," Kon said proudly. "Should be a couple more minutes. What the hell's intrinsic?"

"Oh, right. Sorry. It's, um, something that comes so naturally that you don't even think about it. 'Belonging to the essential nature of a thing.' You know, your TTK." Bart shrugged, spreading his hands slightly. "Instinct."

"Oh, cool." Kon flew over to the pot and looked in it. "I think it's ready. Here," he opened a cabinet and grabbed two bowls. Then he thought about it for a second and grabbed a third. He filled them and gave two to Bart, keeping the third for himself.

Bart chuckled, accepting both bowls. "Thanks, man," he said, absently juggling the bowls slightly to keep from scalding his hands. "Wanna sit down like civilized folk?" He grinned, coming close to winking, but decided not to. That was more of a Kon gesture, and while he might have been able to get away with them while in the Speed Force, he knew Kon would call him on it if he did it when around him.

"Sure," Kon said. He flew over to the table and sat down. "Ah, civilized folk. Can't say I've been accused of that too much."

Biting back a snort, Bart followed Kon at a more sedate (and more terrestrial) pace, sitting down across the table. "Well, I figure someone has to bring you up to the level of the rest of humanity," he pointed out as dryly as possible, using his food as a way to hide his smile.

"Who, you?" Kon asked, smirking. Then he remembered that this was new, mature, mentally old Bart. He wasn't exactly sure how to cover for his mistake, so he looked down at his noodles and concentrated on eating.

"Yes, me, you imbecile," he replied, flicking a piece of noodle over at Kon's face. "No one else can stand you for long enough to civilize you." He grinned, taking the sting out of his words. That is, it would have, if Kon would look up. "Hey, you know that I'm not going to get mad at you when you say stupid shit, right? I mean, you're my best friend, Kon. It's gonna take more than some thoughtless comment to make me abandon you." Bart reached out under the table and kicked Kon in the shins, just to emphasize his point. "You won't get rid of me that easy."

"Ow!" Kon said. He looked up and mock-glared at Bart. "Kick me again and I just might. Also, that noodle is now mine."

"Oh please, Mr I've Got TTK Let Me Remind You Every Five Minutes, that couldn't have hurt." He smirked, shaking his head. "Feel free to have it, I've got plenty more where that came from." Just to prove his point, Bart took a huge gulp of the noodles in front of him, and grinned around his mouthful, flicking another noodle in Kon's direction when he wasn't paying attention.

"I'll have you to know that it's the thought that hurts. My feelings aren't invulnerable, you know." Kon gave Bart a hurt look. "The noodle flicking isn't helping you any, you know."

Flicking yet another noodle in Kon's direction, Bart snorted. "C'mon, you know you want to retaliate." He might be old in his head, but even old fogies like him could be as juvenile as teenagers when they put their minds to it. "Don't you turn into Tim on me."

"Who, me? Nah, I'm too mature for that kind of thing." Kon put his hand deliberately. "See? Nowhere near my food. Not like I'm gonna waste my noodles on you." He waited until Bart took another bite to send a flick of tactile telekinesis through the table and into Bart's bowl, splattering the noodles at Bart.

Bart rolled his eyes, nodding. "Uh huh, sure." Returning to his noodles, he ignored Kon's posturing, and so completely missed his sneak-attack TTK food fight. "You little fink!" he exclaimed, jumping up, noodles and broth all down his front. "Oh, it's on, mister," he promised with a rather impressive glare, zipping forward to drop a handful of noodles down the back of Kon's shirt before running away to the other side of the room.

Kon laughed as the noodles splattered Bart and gave an extremely undignified squeak as Bart dropped the Ramen down his shirt.

"You forget, Allen, you're fighting the one guy on earth who can totally keep you still!" He fished out the glob of noodles from his shirt with his TTK and flew at Bart. Sure, he wasn't nearly as fast, but all he needed was one touch.

Laughing helplessly as Kon squeaked like a little girl, Bart wasn't exactly prepared when Kon leapt up and flew towards him. "Oh crap!" he exclaimed, and tried to run, though, with his head start, Kon was faster. Deciding to fight fire with fire, Bart started to vibrate against Kon's TTK holding him against the wall as Kon advanced. Kon could feel things with that stuff, right? Hopefully he could distract him long enough to escape.

"Your sex toy powers will not work on me, Darth Bartius!" Kon shouted. "Now, eat noodles!" He pulled Bart over and shoved them down the back of Bart's pants.

Bart shrieked rather embarrassedly (though if he was asked later, it was a manly shout of outrage) when Kon shoved rapidly cooling noodles down his pants--which were Kon's, so really, down his own pants--though he couldn't stop laughing long enough to give any retort to Kon's particularly stupid comment. Eventually, he was able to gasp out "Alright! Fine! I surrender already!" in between guffaws, struggling vainly in Kon's TTK grip.

Kon picked Bart up with the TTK and deposited him in his chair. "Now who's civilized?" he said, sticking out his tongue. "Also, this proves my power is more awesome."

"Not you, you hooligan! Stuffing noodles down my pants?" Bart twisted himself around, debating whether or not he should try fishing around in there or whether he should just take them off. Eventually, he decided that that would be the best course of action, and kicked off the now soupy jeans. Chucking the jeans at Kon's head, Bart sighed. "Vibrations are always more appreciated than simple restraints, Kon. Everyone knows that. Why d'you think there's so much 'Kid Flash As A Sex-Toy' fan fiction floating around the internet?"

"You started it." Kon caught the jeans with his TTK and tossed them in the general direction of the mudroom slash laundry room. "And that's cause people haven't realized just how much more you can do with TTK than just restrain. I mean, there's floating, groping, jerking off...the possibilities are endless."
