Kon scrawled a note to Bart explaining where he'd gone and that he'd be back later and grabbed his mp3 player. He wasn't nearly as fast as Bart or Clark, so he had a long flight ahead of him and he needed something to listen to.

He flew out and over the Pacific ocean. He hoped he remembered the way to St. Elias'. It had been a while since he'd visited it.

Cissie used the hour before Kon arrived to clean her room--there wasn't too much to do, besides making the bed--and read her English homework in an attempt to finish calming herself down. She really hadn't meant to flip out and get irrational about everything.
