Tim laughed and hugged Bernard back tightly. God, it had been too long. He smirked at Bernard's question. "Of course. I always play nice. And I only threatened him once or twice."

"Yeah, this is the right one!" Bernard declared, hugging Kon briefly too. "The one and only."

He grinned at Tim. "Atta boy," he replied, slinging an arm over Tim's shoulders and ruffling his hair.

He turned to look at Kon. "I hope you were suitably threatened?" he asked, smirking.

"Terrified," Kon said solemnly. He stole a kiss from Bernard. "With this guy protecting you, you've got nothing to worry about." He grinned at Tim.

Tim snickered quietly at the private joke. "Me?" He asked, laying on the innocence just a little thick. "You're Superboy."

Bernard glanced suspiciously between the two of them, but decided that it wasn't worth it to go into unfounded conspiracy theories. Besides, he was too happy to have both Tim and Kon here that he decided not to bother.

Instead, jabbing Tim friendly-like in the ribs with his elbow, he turned to Kon. "Long flight?" he asked, knowing that it probably was. "Want something?"

"Ages," Kon said. "And yes, but I won't say it in front of your innocent friends." He smirked. "Oh, I met Tim's hot girlfriend when I picked him up. She's kind of awesome. And she's met Wendy!"

Tim eyed Kon skeptically. "I didn't think I'd have to head out to the museums so soon..." He turned toward Bernard with a wry smirk. "Yeah--did I mention? She was on Wendy for a few episodes."

Bernard whapped Kon on the arm. "I meant if you wanted anything to drink, hotshot," he said, grinning ruefully. "I will not give up my Timmy so soon after having gotten him back!" He wrapped his other arm around Tim's shoulders, using his added height and the element of surprise to pull him into a cloying hug.

He rolled his eyes. "Yes, you mentioned. And Kon mentioned. And the whole fucking world mentioned. I get it. She's famous." He grinned sardonically.

"Don't worry," Kon said. "You've got a famous boyfriend too, you know. And I think a superhero is a little higher on the famous scale than an Olympic gold medalist. Even one who was on Wendy. Cissie may be cool, but was she a founding member of Young Justice? I think not. And a drink would be delicious."

"Do I have to be shorter than everyone here?" Tim complained mildly, submitting to Barnard's hug for a brief moment before extracting himself again.

He bit back the urge to start laughing at Kon's Young Justice comment. This was... really going to be a lot harder than he'd expected. He eyed Kon skeptically. "I don't know... I think Olympic Athlete trumps superhero. I mean--they work hard, and compete against so many others just for the chance to try at the Olympics."

Okay, so maybe he was a little proud of his girlfriend.

"It's what makes you so adorable!" Bernard insisted in a sing-song voice, squeezing Tim tight before relenting and letting him go.

He laughed, holding up his hands. "You two can duke this one out," he said. "I'm not getting in the middle of this fight." He grinned. "You guys are so ridiculous."

"Tim? You want a drink? I think we still have some Zesti left..." He arched an eyebrow, proud of himself for remembering Tim's favorite disgusting soda.

Kon smirked and flexed. "Think you can take me, Drake?" he asked. "I don't usually beat on midgets...but for the honor of my boyfriend, I'll make an exception."

"Zesti would be great, thanks," he told Bernard. He eyed Kon speculatively, a sharp smile coming across his face. Finally, he nodded, and only just caught himself before slipping into an offensive posture. "Yes. I think I could take you. For my girlfriend's honor."

Bernard laughed. "Alright you two, take it downstairs. I don't want anyone damaging my stuff."

"Don't worry, baby," Kon said. "He can't hurt me. He doesn't know about my secret weapon." He smirked at Tim. "I've got tactile telekinesis. Would you like me to tell you about it? You'd be shocked at how rarely I get to talk about it these days. My teammates hit me when I start."

Tim bit back a groan, clenching his teeth a little as he gestured for Kon ton continue with his explanation. Not being himself sucked. "And what is Tactile Telekinesis?" he gritted out.

Bernard laughed. Kon and his TTK, honestly. Well, at least Tim had never heard this one before. "Alright boys, this way." He gestured down the stairs. "Off to the kitchen. You can brag en route," he told Kon, winking.

"Oh, it's great," Kon said as he followed Bernard. "See, I've got this impregnable aura that surrounds me. I can do all sorts of cool things with it like make other people fly or take apart mechanical things." He smirked at Tim. "It's how I made you fly, you know. I could also make you bulletproof, just by touching you." He glanced at Bernard. "Other things I can do just by touching people are reserved for Bernard's knowledge alone."

"How utterly delightful for you," Tim replied drolly. No--even having "met" Kon for the first time, he coouldn't really fake an interest in TTK. He'd heard about it and worked with it just too much for that.

Bernard grinned over his shoulder at Kon. "Damn straight," he said, pointing a finger threateningly. "You better not forget it."

He laughed. "Timmy's a hard man to impress, hotshot. You might have to do better than that." He reached out and whapped Tim on the back in a friendly fashion.

Kon shrugged. "I am so unappreciated," he said mildly.

Tim grinned back at Bernard, then turned toward Kon again to give him an apologetic shrug. "I am very well traveled," he explained with a slight air of ennui. He kept his expressiion bland as he continued. "I've seen a lot."

And Kon would even have an idea of what he was talkng about. Gods, goddesses, Hell (or was it Heck?), the world's greatest heroes and villains... the list could go on for a long time.

Bernard smirked, blowing Kon a kiss over Tim's head. "I appreciate you, babe. All night." He winked.

Rolling his eyes, he reached out and ruffled Tim's hair. "Yes, yes, we know, you're very cultured," he said as they turned into the kitchen.

"You damn better," Kon said. He touched the wall and goosed Bernard with his TTK. "I'm sure you've seen many, many things, Tim," he said casually.

Tim raised an amused eyebrow, then glanced at Bernard again. "I think I'm being mocked. Bernard--your new boyfriend is mocking me."
