"This'll be awesome," Kon said. He and Cissie were steering Tim into a room filled with lots and lots of people and booze and probably other drugs that they would very studiously ignore because they were Superheroes, but they were also college students and they didn't really want their peers arrested.

"This is coercion," Tim said. He wasn't exactly struggling to get away from Cissie and Kon, but he wasn't relaxing either. It felt to Kon like he was looking for an opportunity to escape.

"But the fun kind!" Kon craned his neck, resisting the impulse to float up a little for a better view. "You think that girl's single? I'm a pretty hot guy, you know. I bet I could score."

Cissie slapped Kon's arm without really looking up. "It will be fun," she said, leaning over too kiss Tim's cheek lightly. "You've been cramped up in that room for too long."

"Still," Tim grumbled. "Did Kon have to steal my laptop?"

Kon snorted out a laugh. "You wouldn't have leeeeeft," he said in a sing-song voice. "Drastic measures were needed!"

"And Cissie, you went along with it? Grayson is the only one I can trust!" Tim moaned.

"To be fair, I didn't know he was going to steal your laptop," Cissie said. "He just said he'd find a way to convince you."

"Grayson helped me too," Kon said. "He kept look-out. He's a good kitty like that."

Tim snorted. "He would never keep look-out for you. He's loyal to me. He was planning on betraying you at the last minute."

"It would have been very dramatic, I'm sure." Kon ruffled Tim's hair. "Now, get drunk."

Tim glared and smoothed his hair. "I don't drink. As you well know."

"Buuuuut it's fun!" Kon threw an arm over him, stooping a little and grinned. "We're here to be social, Tim! To celebrate the fact that we've survived another week!"

"Yes, Conner. The school week is so much scarier than anything else you've ever faced," Cissie said, sounding amused.

"Not everyone has trouble surviving entire weeks of school," Tim said.

"Yeeeeah, but…" Kon frowned and checked his cell phone. "Hey, look! It's been two whole months and I haven't skipped a single class! That's good, right?"

Tim and Cissie looked at each other, then nodded suspiciously.

"And since you want to encourage good behavior, you should clearly drink and party tonight so that I learn that not skipping is fun too." Kon nodded smugly and crossed his arms.

Cissie smiled a little. "We are at the party, you know."

"Yep!" Kon grinned.

"Instead of doing my very important work that really, I can't afford to take lots of breaks on?" Tim said, raising an eyebrow.

Kon sighed. "Guuuuuys. I can't get drunk, you know that."

Tim coughed and looked around subtlety.

Kon rolled his eyes. "Because I'm allergic to booze and it would make me sick."

Cissie snorted a little.

Tim smirked. "So I guess you can't only not get drunk, you can't drink at all?"

Kon slapped his forehead. "Aw, damn. Anyways, you guys need to drink for me!"

"You don't really need help getting your inhibitions lowered," Cissie pointed out.

"You call it lowered inhibitions, I call it charm." Kon shot her a grin and looked her up and down. "How you doin'?" he asked.

Cissie giggled. "You're lucky that's a Friends reference."

Kon laughed. "I've never made a woman's bra pop open just by looking at it, but I can do it just by touching it." He paused, looking up thoughtfully. "Though maybe if she didn't mind it getting destroyed…" If he used a very controlled blast of heat vision, maybe?

"That is a terrible idea for so many reasons," Cissie said, shaking her head.

"I've never had sex with someone who didn't know I'm me." Kon frowned. "How do I have sex without revealing my, uh, special quirks?" Wow, he hated this secret ID stuff. And Cissie and Tim were not looking sympathetic at all.

"I'm sure you'll manage," Tim said dryly.

"This is like when I complain about having to walk places, isn't it?" Kon grumbled.

Cissie nodded and patted his arm. "Exactly like that, Kon."

"I need less normal friends."

"How many times have you called me a freak by now?" Tim asked.

"That's it, I'm calling Bart. He can sympathize."

"Oh, Kon." Cissie shook her head and put a hand on his back. "Come on. I'll have a small drink for you, okay?"

"Yeah, okay," Kon said, grumbling. "Tim too?"

"…fine," Tim said. "But very small. I'm not getting drunk. Too much 'homework' to do."

Kon grinned. "You guys are the best." He slung an arm over both of them and went off to find drinks. It promised to be a good evening.
