Buffy wasn't quite up to snuff enough to be in her normal pre-date (or something-of-a-date) mindset. She was still half-numb from everything, but some little part of her was excited about this. He was a little young, but he'd been kind to her so far - even if they hadn't seen eye to eye on the world. He was so... bright. Like a tiny little ball of sunshine trapped inside of an attractive, male body.

She glanced toward the clock. It wasn't quite six-thirty yet, but she couldn't resist the urge to look out the window. He was already there. Wandering over to her door, she unlocked and opened it. "You're early," she smiled, looking him over. She felt horribly over-dressed... but she was cute, so it was alright.
