Kon arrived at Steph's house exactly on time. Sure, they weren't going on a date or anything, but that wouldn't stop him from being polite. And looking his best, but when didn't he make sure to look his best?

Anyway, he liked Steph. Not like-liked. Tim would probably kill him if he like-liked Steph. Or maybe Batgirl. He hoped it'd be Batgirl. Being killed by a hot girl in black leather seemed like a much better way to go than being killed by Tim. Which wouldn't be an issue at all because Kon didn't like Steph in that way and wouldn't have to be killed.

He decided he was thinking too much about it. Instead, he flew up and tapped on Steph's window.

Steph was totally aware of how much of her he was touching right now.

"Oh, yes," she agreed. "This is totally fine."

She hoped it was a long flight.

"Great," Kon said. He pushed open the window and flew through it.

After a pleasant flight where Kon managed to avoid two tropical storms all while holding a gorgeous girl in his arms, Kon landed outside a small restaurant in Venice.

He set Steph down. "Here's the place. They love me here." He waved at a waiter standing outside and giving him a dirty glare.

Steph could not believe that she was actually in Italy.

"This is great!" she said. "Um, I hope you speak Italian. Because I've only picked up some curses from Huntress that I'm probably not supposed to know."

Kon laughed. "You can do that if the waiter spills on us." He hailed a waiter who was watching the two of them impassively. "Buongiorno, Senor Giuseppe!"

"Your Italian has gotten even worse than last time you came here, Superboy," Giuseppe said in perfect English. "I'd heard you were dead."

"Yeah, long story," Kon said. "Could I get a table for two?"

Giuseppe nodded and walked inside, gesturing to them to follow.

Steph was trying not to giggle.

"Nice," she told him. "This is lots of fun," she added. "Thank you for inviting me."

"Anytime," Kon said, leading her into the restaurant. "Oh, and don't worry about the bill. Totally all on me."

Kon knew the food here was wonderful. He knew Steph would have an amazing time, and he'd completely charm her.

Though, of course, how much he charmed her wouldn't actually matter. Since it wasn't a date or anything.

Still, it would be fun.
