21.2 What makes you happy/laugh?

I'm happy that Bart's moved in with me. I missed him. And he wasn't taking care of himself. I don't care how grown up he is now, I'm glad he's somewhere where I can keep an eye on him. I mean, sure he can take care of himself, but how do I know that he will? He was living in a motel when I found him! A frigging motel! And I still can't shake the feeling that if I leave him alone for a minute, or blink or anything, he'll run away. He's gotta stop worrying that we like him. When is he gonna realize that we all love him and we want him around and I wouldn't have invited him to freaking live with me if I didn't!

Still, it's pretty cool sharing a house with your best friend. Maybe we can convince Tim to move in with us too. That would be sweet.

Steph makes me laugh. How did I not hang out with her back before I died? She's so much fun! I mean, she's kinda like Tim, only hotter. And not nearly as weird. And less likely to become an evil scientist. (No offense, Tim.)

Man, I cannot see how Tim let her go. I mean, I love Cissie. She's one of my best friends, and she and Tim are apparently doing absolutely great.

But man, Steph.

Ramen's not food. Besides, they're noodles, so ew. They have these handy bags of frozen vegetables that you can microwave *in* the bag. Individual servings, even--get some, and then you don't even have to worry about cleaning or prepping or using the stove.

And thanks. Maybe I'll visit. Just--forgive me if I decline if your new girlfriend is there. But since she's so much fun, you probably won't miss me anyway.

No, it's--first of all, Tim didn't break up with her. He--it's not my story to tell, anyway, so you'll have to ask him, but there's more to it than what she seems to keep telling everyone who will stand still long enough to listen.

No, it is not. Trust me. Just as it is hardly ever the time for a rock joke. No one thinks those are funny.

I'm not going to say that girls are crazy, but sometimes girls are crazy. I'd just avoid the subject from now on if I were you. Avoid it like the plague. If you were at all susceptible to the plague. Are you? I wouldn't think so, but pretty much no one has the plague anymore, so it'd be hard to test. Not that I'd want to, I like you healthy and kicking and all that jazz, so trying to infect you with deadly diseases would probably be a bad way to go about things.
