[Roleplay with Tim and Bernard]

Kon flew to the roof of Titans Tower, keeping a wary eye out for any flying girls that might want to talk to him.

He saw Tim and grinned. He walked over and held out a hand. "Tim Drake, right? I'm Bernard's boyfriend. You may have heard of me."

Tim made a face. "All right--turnabout's fair play. Your favorite TV show?"

Bernard rolled his eyes. "I can answer that one," he said. "Wendy the Werewolf Stalker."

"Yeah, really, Tim," Kon said. "That was an easy one. Ask a better one."

Tim made a face, glaring at Kon through his lashes. It was hard to "get to know" someone you already knew as well as you knew almost anyone. "All right, let's see. What kind of music do you listen to?"

Bernard stroked Kon's wrist under his jacket, tilting his head up so he could see Kon's face. He was pretty curious about this too. After all, he'd have to know stuff like this if he was going to be able to buy Kon birthday presents and stuff. Somehow, even though he was sure Kon would appreciate it, he figured that lube and a box of condoms might be a rather awkward gift to give someone.

Kon smirked at him. "Lots of stuff," he said. "Really, almost anything except Enya. Terrible band, Enya."

Tim scowled slightly at Kon. "Enya is a woman, not a band, and Cissie gave me that album." Shit. Kon wouldn't have gone through his CDs. He glanced over at Bernard. "I was listening to it when Kon picked me up," he explained.

Bernard smirked. "Dude, you're defending Enya. I don't care who gave it to you, that's the kind of thing you just 'pretend' to listen to and never open."

"I knew that," Kon said, scowling. "And yeah, it's pretty damn terrible. Tim, you got terrible tastes in music."

Tim shruged unrepentantly. "Very good medication music, and besides--I'm not making you listen to it, am I?"

Bernard laughed, shifting a little so he was lounging against Kon's side. "Freak," he said affectionately, poking Tim in the shin with his foot.

"Definitely," Kon agreed, smirking at Tim. "What's next? You going to tell me he plays Wizards and Warlocks or something?"

"Actually, yes," he replied serenely. "Something wrong with that, Kon?" His tone of voice quite clearly said "You'd better say no, or I will put a serious hurt on you."

Bernard laughed, whapping Kon's arm. "Wizards and Warlocks builds important skills like strategy and hiding your extreme geekiness from others," he pointed out. "Nothing wrong with that."

Kon smirked. "No, of course, nothing wrong with that."

Tim eyed them both sourly. "I will kick both of your asses with my geek powers."

Bernard pretended to cower behind Kon's arm. "Oh no!" he cried. "Kon, save me!"

"I don't know," Kon said. "I think that in this case, you're better protection than me. He likes you. And geek powers are pretty scary."

Tim gave Bernard a mock-serious look. "It's true. You are my best friend. I've only just met Kon here. I'm much less likely to waste you with my awesome geekness than I am to waste him."

Bernard put on a mock-protective face, hugging Kon's arm to his chest. "If you want him, you'll have to go through me first," he quoted, biting the corner of his mouth to keep from laughing.

"Awesome," Kon said. He stuck his tongue out at Tim. "Now you can't hurt me."

Tim bit back a grin as he regarded Kon evenly. "I'm sure I could manage something if I really put my mind to it..." he said thoughtfully.

Bernard glared over Kon's arm. "You hurt my boy, I keeeel you," he said.

"There you have it," Kon said, nodding solemnly. "You hurt his boy, he keeeel you."

Tim snorted lightly and reached out to pat Bernard on the knee. "Don't worry. I'll exercise self-restraint."
