Tim struck a pose. "Obviously."

"Oh, har har," he said, pulling the tab off his Zesti and chucking it in Tim's direction. "One of these days I'm gonna figure you out. Then you'll be sorry!"

Kon laughed. "Psh, I've known him for all of an hour and I can already tell there's not much to figure out. Though that could just be relative to my friends."

Tim shrugged. "I'm no Robin, but I'd like to think I've got hidden depths."

Bernard rolled his eyes. "No wonder I'm friends with you both," he said. "You're crazy."

"I like to think we're a bit more than friends," Kon said, telekinetically goosing Bernard again. "And you are nowhere near as mysterious as Robin. I mean, considering I've only known you an hour and already I've seen your face." He smirked at Tim.

Tim opened his mouth to argue--again--that that had never been his choice, but then closed it. That wasn't an argument they could have here. Instead, he smiled a little, and looked curiously at Kon. "He didn't let you see his face? Like--ever?"

Bernard clamped his hand down hard on Kon's thigh, turning slowly to glare at him. "Hey," he said, arching and eyebrow. "Stop that."

Kon grinned. "Sorry," he said, not sounding very sorry at all.

"Robin? Yeah, eventually he did. Lost a bet over it," Kon said. "Long story."

Tim raised an eyebrow, amused. "I'm intrigued."

Bernard huffed, turning back so he was facing Tim, reaching up to play with the hand that wasn't holding Kon's orange juice.

He chuckled. "We do have a lot of time..." he pointed out.

"Oh, it is a very mysterious and intriguing story," Kon said, gesturing wildly with his orange juice. "Full of mystery and intrigue." He grinned. "Actually, not really. Wonder Girl and I just had a bet going on about his face. I'd bet that he wore a mask all the time cause he was horribly disfigured, and he wasn't."

Tim raised an eyebrow in amusement and turned toward Bernard. "And you told me he was horribly disfigured. What did you lose?" he asked, glancing back at Kon again.

[OOC: Damn it! Wrong journal again!!!]

Bernard held a hand to his chest in mock-horror. "Who, me?" He smirked. "I completely blacked out that brain cell," he admitted.

Kon shrugged. "I don't even remember. Probably five bucks or something. And Robin's ugly, not really disfigured though."

Tim shifted his position on the couch, making sure to elbow Kon sharply in the side as he did. "That's too bad. Good thing he wears a mask."

Bernard pinched the skin on the back of Kon's hand, for all the good it did him. "Hey, be nice," he warned. "I'm sure he's cute enough."

"Eh, he's okay, I guess. No Superboy, but if you're into that kind of thing..." Kon shrugged.

Tim rolled his eyes. "Well, we can't all be Superboy, can we?"

Bernard grinned, leaning up to kiss Kon briefly. "No, we can't," he agreed. He nudged Tim's knee with his foot. "Your turn, Timmy," he decided. "As a question."

Kon played with the hair on Bernard's neck and grinned at Tim. "Go on, Timmy," he said. "Shoot a question at me. Trust me, you can't get too personal."

"All right." Tim arched an eyebrow and fixed Kon with a piercing look. "What are your intentions toward my best friend?"

Bernard smirked, tilting his head up from where it was resting on Kon's shoulder so he could see his face. "Yeah, Kon," he agreed. "We all want to know."

"Well, obviously," Kon said, looking as serious as he could without cracking up. "I'd like to marry him, move into a house with a white picket fence, and have two point five kids.

"You're being snide." He turned toward Bernard. "He's being snide. This does not inspire confidence."
