"You've been telling stories about me," Tim complained mildly. "I think I'm a little put out. I hope some of them were good."

Bernard turned to kiss Kon properly and wrinkled his nose. "Ew," he said. "Grape soda and orange juice do not mix." He looked sadly down at his can of Zesti, but didn't put it down.

Lacing his fingers with Kon's, he smiled fondly at Tim. "Of course there were a few good ones, Tim," he said. "Even though some of the ones about how you were really dorky and a little paranoid were true..."

"Ugh, you're right," Kon said. "This is tragic. Kept apart by drinks."

He grinned. "Yeah, Bernard lead me to believe you were some kind of master-knitter. Something about making a hat to win Bernard's love?"

Tim grimaced and gave Bernard an incredulous look. "Master knitter? Really." He shook his head. "No. Bernard was waxing philosophical about my apparent ability to do everything, and suggested that I crochet--there's a difference--him a hat. I told him I didn't know how, but that I would learn under certain conditions."

Bernard snickered. "Hey, I tried to clarify for him, he just didn't listen."

"Let's move this to somewhere more comfortable," he suggested, heading out into the living room where there were couches and other such comfortable things.

"Your mom around?" Kon asked, glancing around as he followed Bernard.

Tim raised an eyebrow at Kon, giving his a slight smirk. "What, because you really want to have the nice long archaeology chat?"

Bernard rolled his eyes. "No, because he wants to pretend he's not checking her out." He turned, walking backwards and pointing a threatening finger in Kon's direction. "I know how you work, young man," he said, winking.

"No idea what you're talking about," Kon said, faking innocence. "I'm just very interested in archeology."

"Really?" Tim looked at him with wide, innocent eyes. "And which discipline do you find most interesting, Kon? Personally, I'm fascinated by forensic archaeology, though I realize it's a it morbid."

Bernard grinned, slinging an arm over Tim's shoulders. "I agree, Drake," he said. "Forensic archeology is fascinating, but I've always been fond of Military Archeology. Fascinating stuff."

Kon smirked. "I like bodacious archaeology," he said smugly. "I could just ponder over it for hours."

Tim heaved a long-suffering sigh and gave Kon a withering look. "Really. You can do better than that."

Bernard laughed, striking a pose and skimming a hand down his admittedly not bodacious side. "What, like me?" he asked, smirking.

Kon glared at them. "I hate you both," he said.

Tim laughed and reached out to ruffle Kon's hair. "No, you don't."

Bernard grinned and walked over to where Kon stood, wrapping his arms around his waist and pressing a quick kiss against his lips. "You could never hate me," he said, smirking. "I'm always adorable, remember?"

He made his way over to the couch and flung himself down on one end, gesturing for Kon and Tim to sit too.

Kon grinned at Bernard. "Yeah, okay, you're too sexy for me to hate," he said. He threw an arm over Tim. "You neither, Tim. But watch it. You aren't as sexy as Bernard. Don't know how Cissie puts up with you."

He followed Bernard to the couch and sat down next to him. "So, what now?" he asked.

Tim grinned. "Because for some reason, she still loves me, even though I am freakish and short, and I am totally as sexy as Bernard--if not more so. Just ask Cissie."

He shrugged, dropping to the couch on the other side of Bernard. "Whatever. I'm perfectly fine with just hanging out, so."

Bernard snickered, shaking his head. "I will not get into the 'who's sexier?' fight with you two," he informed them.

He grabbed Kon's arm and pulled it around himself, leaning back against his side so he could watch Tim and still be touching Kon. "I dunno," he said, taking a drink from his Zesti. "You two need to get to know each other, so... go!"

"Look, I'll give you that you might be luckier than Bernard because Cissie is way hotter than me," Kon said, "But you? Sexier than Bernard? Dream on."

"Right, getting to know you," Kon added, glancing at Tim. "Man, there's so much to ask...where to start?"

Tim sat back a little on the couch and grinned. He could make this easier for Kon, but... Heh.

"Ask away. I promise I'll stop you if you ask anything too embarrassing."

Bernard smirked, stroking Kon's thigh a little as he leaned back, letting them duke it out.

Kon thought nasty thoughts towards Tim and smiled sweetly at him. "Well, Bernard tells me you're pretty interested in Robin. If you had any questions about him, I could answer 'em."

Oh, you absolute bastard, Tim thought to Kon, keeping his smile pasted onto his face. "My interest was in the first two--the ones who were Robin when I was a kid," he replied. "The current one seems kind of... I don't know." He shrugged. "Just not as interesting."
